Each day we interact with a myriad of cultures, whether they are from a different country or just from a different town. The world is getting smaller, and even as we become more individualistic, we rely on each other more and more for products and services we used to produce ourselves. We cannot avoid meeting people who have a different take on life, and we have to learn to navigate this new world.
Our culture affects everything we do and believe, even if we do not recognise it ourselves. I believe it is important that everyone tries to find out why we believe what we believe, so that we can learn to merge in to our ‘global village’ and understand that we are all affected by our cultural lenses.
As I travel through life and write this blog, I’ll probably tackle some difficult and controversial topics. I hope I will not offend anyone as I go on this journey, if I do offend please forgive me. Please feel free to comment and help me to better understand your culture.
