As you’d imagine, my wife and I attend a culturally diverse Church. It is one of the largest mixed race Churches in the US. As has been stated many times, Sunday is one of the most segregated days. So, I’m pleased we worship in a multi-cultural setting.
Today at Church I was challenged about how I can stay relevant by taking risks, investing my time, talents and money in a God honoring way.
Am I relevant? Other than my wife and family, would I be missed if I was no longer here? Could I leverage my gifts and talents better? Do I have enough faith to invest myself and take risks?
Are we poorer because we don’t invest our time to get to know people in our communities?
I feel often we don’t take risks and invest. We are left poorer because of it and we don’t have strong community.
I’m going to invest, financially and with my gifts and talents and see what happens.
